That is unless you were talking about the clicking sounds when you are clicking through the folders on your computer. If that is the case, then go to your control panel and then click on "sounds" and it will have an option to disable them.

Well it is really when I click links on the web.. Is that IE I wonder ??

It is IE. FireFox doesn't do that.
