Shortly after attempting to buy a hot dog in the USC parking lot in 2001 and being declined because he didn't have cash, Petridis returned at the next game and provided the vendor with a method to process payments with credit cards. The vendor, Hrag Kopooshian, would later become one of the largest hot dog vendors in USC parking lot history and go on to help Petridis open the doors for L3 Payments, which would serve to help vendors, not just hot dog slingers, the opportunity to meet the ever growing demand to take credit card payments online, as well, manage risk and assist vendors with call center needs and gateway solutions. L3 Payments is responsible for processing across a great many institutions, including, Thomas' New Baby Supplies, Trojan Dogs and Corona Beer. Throughout the years, L3Payments established itself as a client-first company, a company that established intimate client relationships which have withstood the test of time and industry evolution.
Melody grew up in some place called Canada doing Canadian things like Curling. In an effort to get Curling familiarized by people in the United States, Melody went into banking where she took a job at V. Banks Inc, one of the largest and most prominent players in the banking world today. Through those experience had at V. Banks, Melody acquired skills unmatched in both ACH and Curling. When dreams of being an Olympic Curler fell through, Melody landed at L3 Payments in Southern California where she immediately changed the course of L3 Payments' ACH platform, both structurally and in client relations.
